In 1994, Mr. Shirazee established and managed as CEO a financial broking firm, Finex Securities Limited. The firm was a corporate member of the Pakistan Stock Exchange – active in the local equity, fixed income and foreign exchange markets. He sold the broking firm to a local investment bank in 2006. Later in 2006 he set up and managed, IGI Funds Limited, a mutual funds business that launched and managed equity and fixed income mutual funds in Pakistan.

In 2009, he acquired a small financial broking firm in Pakistan and re-branded it as Vector Capital. The firm was re-capitalized and currently deals in fixed income, foreign exchange, and commodities futures and also distributes open-end mutual funds in Pakistan.

Mr. Shirazee is also the Chairman/Sponsor of Vector Securities (Pvt.) Limited, a stock broking firm with the Pakistan Stock Exchange.

Mr. Shirazee did his MBA from Karachi and holds a Diploma from the Institute of Bankers in Pakistan. He is also a Certified Director from the Institute of Corporate Governance, Pakistan.
